Fawley
Danks Badnell were invited to enter a competition to design a scheme for a new dwelling, located just outside of Henley. We had a clear brief to design a contemporary scheme on a site that had previously had a planning consent for a more traditional home. Our design won the competition and our proposed scheme, consisting of 4 buildings linked together with a central courtyard, was chosen for development.
Building 1: Main drawing room and study at ground level, with bedroom accommodation on the first floor.
Building 2: Central building included a kitchen, dining room and snug area, with the first-floor bedroom and bathroom accommodation linked to Building 1.
Building 3: Pool house
Building 4: Garage space with accommodation over at first floor level.
