A new house replacing a mid-twentieth century home on a coveted site. The property sits comfortably in its setting with long views towards the Chiltern hills of Beaconsfield. The design references rural Georgian properties in the area, whilst reflecting the scale established by the previous house.
The house provides six bedrooms and a swimming pool set within a raised terrace at the rear. Rooms are arranged around a central hall with a cantilevered staircase, minimising the need for corridors and retaining a sense of openness through the building. It is decorated sparingly with detailing limited to restrained Greek mouldings and more contemporary fixtures and fittings.
